The platform

Built around the business analyst.

Certification is one milestone. The work continues before it, through it, and long after it.

Lanalyste is being developed as one environment for the way business analysts actually learn: deliberate practice, a clear view of where preparation stands, and the tools and methods the discipline runs on. It begins with certification because that is where the need is sharpest — not because that is where the profession ends.

01The model

Four territories, one discipline.

Each territory answers a different question an analyst is actually asking. Two of them exist today; two describe where the platform is going. That distinction is kept visible throughout.

01

Prepare

Moving from knowing the material to applying it.

Available today — CBAP®

Reviewing content is not the same as being able to use it under pressure. More than 1,000 questions and 180 case studies create realistic business contexts that ask for judgment rather than recall. Personalize a session, target a weak area, take a paced challenge, or test the complete experience under exam conditions.

  • Exam simulator
  • Case-study scenarios
  • Practice Mixer
  • Targeted, mixed, paced, and full-exam sessions
  • Saved notes, flags, calculator, and four-color highlighting

02

Measure

Practice becomes useful when progress becomes visible.

Available today

The overview gives you a clear readiness picture, a recommended next action, personal goals, and a suggested study week. Full Performance then explains that picture through accuracy, coverage, reliability, exam weight, pace with correct answers, endurance, trends, and detailed results by knowledge area, task, technique, and question archetype.

  • Six primary readiness signals and one clear indicator
  • Accuracy, coverage, and reliability by knowledge area
  • Task, technique, and question-archetype diagnostics
  • Accurate pace, exam endurance, goals, and progress trends
  • Recommended actions and a suggested study week

03

Develop

The discipline continues after the exam.

Platform direction

Business analysis is a practice, not a syllabus. The platform is being extended toward the working side of the role — techniques, reusable resources, Agile practices and methodologies — so that what an analyst builds during preparation keeps its value once the certificate is issued.

  • Business analysis tools
  • Techniques and methods
  • Agile practices
  • Continued professional development

04

Connect

Where the platform can grow.

Platform direction — not yet available

Analysts rarely prepare alone. Study groups, mentoring and professional communities already shape how the discipline is learned, and they are the natural direction for a platform built around the analyst. Nothing in this territory is available yet; it is stated here as intent, not as a feature.

  • Study groups
  • Mentoring relationships
  • Professional communities
  • Shared practice

02Today and next

What exists, and what is being built.

A platform under development should say which is which. Everything below the first heading is live in the exam simulator today. Everything below the second is direction — considered, but not shipped.

What exists today

The preparation and measurement foundation, running in the exam simulator as an independent application.

  • CBAP® preparation with 1,000+ questions and 180+ case studies
  • Readiness assessment, practice mode, and exam simulation
  • Targeted, mixed, paced, and configurable practice sessions
  • Saved notes, question flags, calculator, and four-color highlighting
  • English explanations and optional analytical French explanations
  • Question review with saved notes and highlights
  • Readiness overview, detailed performance diagnostics, goals, and study planning

Where it is going

Direction rather than roadmap. These are the territories the platform is being designed to carry, without a date attached to any of them.

  • Preparation for further certifications
  • Business analysis tools and resources
  • Agile practices and methodologies
  • Continued professional development
  • Study groups and professional connection
  • Full French question content

03The principle

An exam has a date.
A discipline does not.

Preparation platforms tend to end where the exam ends, which quietly says that the certificate was the point. It was not. The certificate marks a level of judgment an analyst has reached, and that judgment goes on being used long after the result arrives. Lanalyste is built around the analyst rather than around a single exam — which is why the platform is designed to hold the work that comes before certification, and the work that comes after it.

See the foundation as it stands.

The exam simulator is the part of the platform that exists today. It runs as an independent application.
